How to Play Fantasy Cricket

Welcome to the ultimate guide on playing fantasy cricket at Jasp Fantasy Cricket. Whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned fantasy player, this page walks you through every step—registration, team selection, scoring, and match simulation. Let’s dive in!

1. Register & Login

Click on the Register button, enter your details (name, email, username, password), confirm you are 18+ and from a permitted state, and submit. An activation email will confirm your account. Once registered, use your credentials on the Login page to access your dashboard.

2. Choose Your Contest Format

After logging in, navigate to Fantasy Cricket. You can choose from:

• T20 Format: Quick 20-over match simulations.
• ODI Format: 50-over simulations for deeper strategy.
• Test Format: 4-over hypothetical tests (custom mode).

3. Create or Join a Contest

You can either create a private contest and invite friends, or join public contests hosted by Jasp. For private contests, set the contest name, format, and number of participants. Public contests are pre-configured—just click “Join” to participate.

4. Pick Your Team

Within your chosen contest, click Select Players. You have a virtual budget of 100 credits to assemble an 11-player team. Each real-world player has a credit value based on their form and role. Ensure you select:

• At least 5 batsmen.
• At least 1 wicket-keeper.
• At least 1 all-rounder.
• At least 4 bowlers.

5. Understand the Scoring System

Points are awarded based on player performance in our 20-over simulated match:

• Batting: Run scored = +1 point per run; Half-century = +50 bonus; Century = +100 bonus.
• Bowling: Wicket = +25 points; Maiden over = +20 bonus; 4+ wickets = +50 bonus.
• Fielding: Catch = +10; Run-out = +12; Stumping = +12.
• Strike Rate: High (above 150) = +10; Low (below 90) = –10.
• Economy Rate: Below 6 = +10; Above 10 = –10.

6. Match Simulation & Live Updates

Once teams are locked, our engine simulates a 20-over match between your team and a randomly generated opponent team. Live ball-by-ball commentary and score updates keep you engaged. You can view the simulation progress and live leaderboard under See Your Scorecard.

7. View Results & Analytics

After simulation ends, check your final scorecard with detailed breakdowns: runs, wickets, bonuses, and deductions. Access post-match analytics to review each player’s contribution and strategize for future contests.
